Fenerbahçe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Daday the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling İlbey Tevfik in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bican Ulubay prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 13th minute Korcan Ekber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kazım Çelikel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. İlbey Tevfik recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cebrail Bülbül received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Bican Ulubay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sungur Başkara fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fenerbahçe's protests and gave Sungur Başkara a yellow card for diving instead. Sungur Başkara kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by İlbey Tevfik in the 33rd minute of play forced Daday's goalkeeper Bican Ulubay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bican Ulubay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İlbey Tevfik in the 35th minute of play. Ensar Tekinel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 64 minutes, Akil Temirhan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fenerbahçe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Akil Temirhan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Daday's goal looked a bit too open when İlbey Tevfik came free, but Bican Ulubay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kazım Çelikel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ensar Tekinel in the 76th minute of play. Ensar Tekinel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Daday booed when Fenerbahçe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Akil Temirhan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erman Ergüner in the 95th minute of play forced Daday's goalkeeper Bican Ulubay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Fenerbahçe were the better team. Fenerbahçe's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
