Kudret Kocaker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rauf Nejat having to interfere. If Bilge Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Bilge Reis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rauf Nejat was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. After 40 played minutes Mudanya FK got a freekick which was hit by Halil Utku İzci. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abdi Heybetli in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baykam Kuvvet saved Mudanya FK from getting behind. After 42 played minutes Mudanya FK got a freekick which was hit by Kayacan Lebib. 43 minutes into the match, Mudanya FK's goal looked a bit too open when Abdi Heybetli came free, but Baykam Kuvvet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Basri Çiltay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute Abdi Heybetli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baykam Kuvvet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rauf Nejat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bilge Reis in the 74th minute of play. In the 74th minute Arslan Ubeydullah suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Necdet Tugal kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Halil Utku İzci kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Basri Çiltay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kudret Kocaker in the 94th minute of play forced Ankaragücü AC's goalkeeper Rauf Nejat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 97 minutes into the match, Ankaragücü AC's Abdi Heybetli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Baykam Kuvvet narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded.
