Tugay Eslem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hüsamettin Alpsoy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artaç Özek in the 10th minute of play. Behram Totuks short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Hüsamettin Alpsoy to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 15 minutes, Tümer Tanyolaç mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sögüt FK and the KURT Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th minute, Tümer Tanyolaç hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tugay Eslem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Charlie Roberts scored 1-0 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hüsamettin Alpsoy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Sögüt FK's zone, Behram Totuk stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hüsamettin Alpsoy came out of the goal and Behram Totuk tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Erkan Tahir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Haşim Canal hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. When KURT Fc's Behram Totuk in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sögüt FK's goalie prevented a goal. A hard shot 34 in the game by Behram Totuk from a close distance when the talented Hüsamettin Alpsoy managed to make a qualified save. Sögüt FK's players were relieved. Charlie Roberts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hüsamettin Alpsoy having to interfere. Behram Totuk got in the 37th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Hüsamettin Alpsoy handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. KURT Fc's Abay Şemsifer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melih Cevdet Onultan in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute, one of KURT Fc:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for KURT Fc. Abay Şemsifer went to the wrong direction when Abdulbaki İbiş was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tugay Eslem to make the kick off. Abay Şemsifer was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Abdulbaki İbiş. 56 minutes into the match, Charlie Roberts notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Sögüt FK's Hüsamettin Alpsoy. Hüsamettin Alpsoy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tugay Eslem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Hüsamettin Alpsoy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Palha in the 66th minute of play forced Sögüt FK's goalkeeper Hüsamettin Alpsoy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, KURT Fc's Artaç Özek sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hüsamettin Alpsoy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Paulo Palha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charlie Roberts in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hüsamettin Alpsoy saved Sögüt FK from getting behind. Hüsamettin Alpsoy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Charlie Roberts's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. KURT Fc's Tugay Eslem got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charlie Roberts in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hüsamettin Alpsoy saved Sögüt FK from getting behind. In the 96thth minute of the game Charlie Roberts who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sögüt FK's Hüsamettin Alpsoy was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. KURT Fc had played much better football throughout.
