Spectators: 6678 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 0) 4 minutes into the game, Hakkı Deniz Vezir was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Idealtepe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Refahiye FK the free kick. After 3 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Idealtepe! Behlül Aköz hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute Zafer Özbay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Batur Başer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Veysel Yazganalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Atak Baysu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Veysel Yazganalp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batur Başer having to interfere. Veysel Yazganalp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Idealtepe's Atak Baysu got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Atak Baysu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Nazım Uğursel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Veysel Yazganalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Zafer Özbay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batur Başer having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zafer Özbay in the 57th minute of play forced Idealtepe's goalkeeper Batur Başer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Batur Başer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zafer Özbay in the 69th minute of play. Refahiye FK's attack was well implemented in the 71st minute, but when Zafer Özbay was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. In the 72nd minute, Nazım Uğursel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Zafer Özbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Veysel Yazganalp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Idealtepe's Batur Başer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Veysel Yazganalp in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute Zafer Özbay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Batur Başer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Refahiye FK were the better team. Refahiye FK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
