The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hayrullah Şenbay showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 13 minutes into the game, Polat İşkembeci was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ihsangazi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Artvin SK the free kick. Polat İşkembeci kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Amílton Chaves took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rauf Özakıncı. Rauf Özakıncı dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Mateo Ospin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Rauf Özakıncı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rauf Özakıncı showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amílton Chaves, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Seçkin Çetin got free with Hayrullah Şenbay in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mateo Ospin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Ospin in the 31st minute of play forced Ihsangazi's goalkeeper Rauf Özakıncı to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Behlül Vurgun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mateo Ospin to strike the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Artvin SK's Mateo Ospin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rauf Özakıncı narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Mateo Ospin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rauf Özakıncı. That made the score 0-3 in the 54 minute of play. If Amílton Chaves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mateo Ospin might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rauf Özakıncı. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. After a defensive mix-up in Ihsangazi's zone, Behlül Vurgun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rauf Özakıncı came out of the goal and Behlül Vurgun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mateo Ospin succeeded in the game's 84th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-4. Serter Ramiz hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amílton Chaves got free with Rauf Özakıncı in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mateo Ospin in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rauf Özakıncı prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mateo Ospin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rauf Özakıncı having to interfere. Artvin SK's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
