Beşiktaş's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Peyami Yeten was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 37th minute, yeşilbayırspor's Ahmet Nasir Rekin dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. 42 minutes into the match, yeşilbayırspor's goal looked a bit too open when İbrahim Lütufkâr came free, but Fausto Bosso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, İbrahim Lütufkâr ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fausto Bosso was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Namık Kemal Hataylı struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Fausto Bosso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beşiktaş. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ahmet Nasir Rekin was the one to do the kick off. yeşilbayırspor's Yüce Ruçhan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Erhun Darcan in the 52 minute of the game. Fausto Bosso made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when İbrahim Lütufkâr sent off a good shot on target. Beşiktaş's Ayvaz Yumlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Nasir Rekin in the 62nd minute of play. Ahmet Nasir Rekin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ayvaz Yumlu came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by yeşilbayırspor's Ahmet Nasir Rekin. But to his dismay, Ahmet Nasir Rekin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Beşiktaş's goalkeeper Ayvaz Yumlu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ayvaz Yumlu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Yüce Ruçhan went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Ahmet Nasir Rekin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ayvaz Yumlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Beşiktaş's Ayvaz Yumlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peyami Yeten in the 79th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, yeşilbayırspor's goal looked a bit too open when İbrahim Lütufkâr came free, but Fausto Bosso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that yeşilbayırspor were the better team. yeşilbayırspor's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
