The βεşικ†αşş fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arda Baybars Cesman should have stopped the shot. In the 11th match minute, βεşικ†αşş was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birsel Ciner to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute Aykut Tugal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arda Baybars Cesman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hüsmen Lefter blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mehmet Arif Şah having to make a save. A collision led to Maslak getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Bircan Taykara hit a great ball. Hüsmen Lefter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Mehmet Arif Şah tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hüsmen Lefter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Atilla Acem fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maslak's protests and gave Atilla Acem a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th minute, Vatan Resul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Hüsmen Lefter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vatan Resul in the 47th minute of play forced βεşικ†αşş's goalkeeper Arda Baybars Cesman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Arda Baybars Özcan made the kick off in the second half. Atilla Acem received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arda Baybars Cesman came out and tried to block the shot, but Atilla Acem slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 53rd minute. In the 60th minute, Necaettin Onursu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arda Baybars Cesman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aykut Tugal in the 65th minute. 67 minutes into the game, Yüce Tandoğdu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Mehmet Arif Şah was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Arda Baybars Cesman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arda Baybars Özcan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hüsmen Lefter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mehmet Arif Şah read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Yüce Tandoğdu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mehmet Arif Şah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yüce Tandoğdu in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Nihat Şeref was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Maslak's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave βεşικ†αşş the free kick. The supporters of βεşικ†αşş booed when Maslak was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nihat Şeref didn't get a good kick on the ball. βεşικ†αşş's Yüce Tandoğdu got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Maslak booed when βεşικ†αşş was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yavuz Selim Nazmi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute Arda Baybars Özcan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arda Baybars Cesman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mehmet Arif Şah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hüsmen Lefter in the 94th minute of play. Mehmet Arif Şah showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yüce Tandoğdu in the 95th minute of the match. The βεşικ†αşş fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Maslak were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
