The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ardahan Oyanalp during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nostalgia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Latif Özil in the 17th minute. After the first half Bursaspor SK were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Ahmet Hakan Özgeer tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Tacettin Bircan. An unnecessary self made goal, 3-4 in the 88th minute. In the 92nd minute, Serkan Kocaman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nostalgia's Doğuhan Tezalp proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save Nostalgia from getting a goal against them.
