A collision led to Manavgat getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Nejat Alp Nezir hit a great ball. In the 5th minute, Davut Okyanus made a precise shot to the right of Battal Tüzeman. Turhanspor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Davut Okyanus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 13 played minutes Manavgat got a freekick which was hit by Hadi Yurday. Korkut Ayazoğlu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 14th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Marco Ibenforth. Müfit Şamil hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Seyit Nasuh might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Battal Tüzeman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Seyit Nasuh ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 18thth minute of the game Seyit Nasuh who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Turhanspor's Battal Tüzeman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Turhanspor's Battal Tüzeman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davut Okyanus in the 26th minute of play. After 34 minutes, Hadi Yurday mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manavgat and the Turhanspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd minute, one of Manavgat:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Manavgat. In the 34th minute there was a penalty for Turhanspor. Mehmet Bilge İlsu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Korkut Ayazoğlu. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mehmet Bilge İlsu to make the kick off. Korkut Ayazoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Müfit Şamil in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 61st minute, Güneri Öztuna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yunus İzmirli kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Turhanspor's Birsel Çetinsoy got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mehmet Bilge İlsu took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Korkut Ayazoğlu. Korkut Ayazoğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Mehmet Bilge İlsu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Turhanspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Mehmet Bilge İlsu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Korkut Ayazoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Turhanspor fans' excitement grew in the 78th match minute when Turhanspor's Mehmet Bilge İlsu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 85th minute, Mehmet Bilge İlsu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Korkut Ayazoğlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Marco Ibenforth kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. There was no doubt that Turhanspor were the better team. Turhanspor's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
