Anıl Baran Sarıcabay hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Doğaner Akçakoca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Utkan Tayuk having to interfere. Utkan Tayuk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cafer Sazak, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Lennart Smedfeldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harun Gök having to interfere. In the 26th minute Lennart Smedfeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harun Gök saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Süleymaniye's Orhun Sorgun sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Harun Gök narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Doğaner Akçakoca managed to get in a good position for a shot. VAKFIKEBİR's supporters rose to their feet, but Doğaner Akçakoca was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. One of Süleymaniye:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of VAKFIKEBİR:s goal. Utkan Tayuk had in the 75thth minute some difficulties stopping Ali Behzat Sonat's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After some careless play in the Süleymaniye defense, Ali Behzat Sonat kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Utkan Tayuk. The Süleymaniye fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Utkan Tayuk should have stopped the shot. VAKFIKEBİR's Harun Gök proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save VAKFIKEBİR from getting a goal against them. Lennart Smedfeldt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. VAKFIKEBİR's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Lennart Smedfeldt scored to the left of an out of position Harun Gök, making the score, 1-1. Harun Gök made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lennart Smedfeldt in the 93rd minute of play. Süleymaniye were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
