The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Abdulaziz Ataseven left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GaZaGeLeN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 10th minute, Yasin Salcan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seyit Özdoğan in the 15th minute of play forced Develi FK's goalkeeper Aşık Maksut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 minutes of play, GaZaGeLeN's Evren Baytugay made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aşık Maksut was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 23rd minute Seyit Özdoğan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aşık Maksut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25 minutes of play, Develi FK's Suphi Tanacan made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Faik Saik was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aşık Maksut was a little too slow when Seyit Özdoğan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 3-1. 38 minutes into the game, GaZaGeLeN's Evren Baytugay nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aşık Maksut made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. After having played for 44 minutes, Yusuf Orhan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Develi FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yusuf Orhan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Seyit Özdoğan came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the GaZaGeLeN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Seyit Özdoğan couldn't finish the play.

In the 57th minute Mustafa Cumhur Bostancıoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faik Saik saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute, Yusuf Orhan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Seyit Özdoğan in the 68th minute of play forced Develi FK's goalkeeper Aşık Maksut to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Faik Saik made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yusuf Orhan in the 71st minute. Aşık Maksut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evren Baytugay in the 72nd minute of the match. 77 minutes into the match, Develi FK's goal looked a bit too open when Seyit Özdoğan came free, but Aşık Maksut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Develi FK getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Mustafa Cumhur Bostancıoğlu hit a great ball. Faik Saik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mustafa Cumhur Bostancıoğlu in the 82nd minute of the match. Mustafa Cumhur Bostancıoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faik Saik having to interfere. Aşık Maksut took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Seyit Özdoğan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aşık Maksut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdulkerim Serbülend in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute Seyit Özdoğan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aşık Maksut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89th minute, Evren Baytugay made a precise shot to the right of Aşık Maksut. Develi FK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. 96 minutes into the match, Develi FK's goal looked a bit too open when Abdulaziz Ataseven came free, but Aşık Maksut reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
