Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Saip Uzalp started the match with the kick off. The audience was convinced that Gökalp Akar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ender Pamir was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. In the 10th minute, Refik Halit İpekçi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Balmumcu's Boğaçhan Sav got a free kick in the 14th minute. Şahap Baykutay, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Balmumcu's zone, Gökalp Akar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ender Pamir came out of the goal and Gökalp Akar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Uzunköprü's Refik Halit İpekçi got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the last second Ender Pamir throw himself and got hold of the ball when Gökalp Akar in the 23rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. In the 28th minute of the match Umut Orak sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Başaran Baytugay skillfully saved the ball. Refik Halit İpekçi struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Ender Pamir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uzunköprü. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Kenan Saraçoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balmumcu's supporters rose to their feet, but Kenan Saraçoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Başaran Baytugay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Balmumcu's Baturay Geylanoğullarından pulled a muscle in his leg after 37 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Ahmet Ömür Şanberk's late challenge caught a Balmumcu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ahmet Ömür Şanberk helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Uzunköprü's Ahmet Ömür Şanberk got a free kick in the 38th minute. With a little luck, Balmumcu's Ender Pamir got control of the ball when Refik Halit İpekçi tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saip Uzalp in the 45th minute of play forced Uzunköprü's goalkeeper Başaran Baytugay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boğaçhan Sav fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Başaran Baytugay having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gökalp Akar made a kick off. Gökalp Akar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ender Pamir having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Boğaçhan Sav hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute Refik Halit İpekçi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ender Pamir saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Refik Halit İpekçi struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Ender Pamir didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uzunköprü. If Refik Halit İpekçi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gökalp Akar scored 1-0 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ender Pamir, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Saip Uzalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute Saip Uzalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Başaran Baytugay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Uzunköprü booed when Balmumcu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hurşit Baştürk didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Uzunköprü's Şahap Baykutay tried to score from far away in the 84th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Gökalp Akar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Ender Pamir tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ender Pamir showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gökalp Akar in the 93rd minute of the match. If Saip Uzalp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Uzunköprü's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
