After a defensive mix-up in Catalcesme's zone, Enginsu Acunalp stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oktay Özgun came out of the goal and Enginsu Acunalp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baybars Hatip hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. After 23 played minutes INFILAK FC got a freekick which was hit by Hasan Ali Özgener. Oktay Özgun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aygün Senih, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the match, Catalcesme's Fevzi Olcaytu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Denizhan Yalavaç narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Denizhan Yalavaç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fatih Saip in the 45th minute of play. Catalcesme's Fevzi Olcaytu got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fatih Saip stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fevzi Olcaytu got free with Denizhan Yalavaç in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Yavuz Selim Okbudun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Oktay Özgun was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Fevzi Olcaytu in the 86thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
