Özden Balcı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Koray Atlas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 18 minutes, Özden Balcı managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Afyon SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Özden Balcı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ertuğrul Temizhan came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Ledegaoğullarıspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ertuğrul Temizhan couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes into the match, Ledegaoğullarıspor's goal looked a bit too open when Ferhat Balcıoğlu came free, but Koray Atlas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Özden Balcı succeeded in the game's 23rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. If Özden Balcı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Koray Atlas came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Afyon SK's Özden Balcı. But to his dismay, Özden Balcı quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Vecdi Mukbil kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Özden Balcı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 44 minutes into the match, Özden Balcı notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Ledegaoğullarıspor's Koray Atlas. Koray Atlas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The wind increased when Özden Balcı made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Ledegaoğullarıspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Göktürk Gündeş to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ferhat Balcıoğlu got free with Koray Atlas in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Koray Atlas managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Afyon SK's Özden Balcı fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 59th minute Özden Balcı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Koray Atlas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Afyon SK's Şahin Yazganalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aşır Alanson in the 66th minute of play. Şahin Yazganalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aşır Alanson in the 73rd minute of the match. Ferhat Balcıoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76thth minute of the game Özden Balcı who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ledegaoğullarıspor's Koray Atlas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ferhat Balcıoğlu had several of the Ledegaoğullarıspor's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 77 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-4 score and a disappointed Koray Atlas as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 81st minute of the match Ayhan Türksan shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Koray Atlas showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Özden Balcı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Koray Atlas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Ledegaoğullarıspor's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ferhat Balcıoğlu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Ferhat Balcıoğlu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Afyon SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferhat Balcıoğlu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Koray Atlas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over Afyon SK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ledegaoğullarıspor throughout the match.
