The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. TEKİRDAĞSPOR's Cevdet Mutlualp got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 10th minute, Cevdet Mutlualp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ayberk Öktuğ was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 16th minute Cevdet Mutlualp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ayberk Öktuğ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 20 minutes, Aktan Talaş successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 22 minutes into the match, TEKİRDAĞSPOR's goalkeeper Aktan Talaş had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serdar Özkar. When TEKİRDAĞSPOR's Affan Cihangir in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Inönü FK's goalie prevented a goal. Serdar Özkar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Aktan Talaş when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ömür Safi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Aktan Talaş tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute Affan Cihangir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ayberk Öktuğ saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Affan Cihangir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ayberk Öktuğ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Affan Cihangir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 46th minute Ömür Safi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aktan Talaş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ayberk Öktuğ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Affan Cihangir in the 47th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After having played for 55 minutes, Serdar Özkar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inönü FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serdar Özkar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot 57 in the game by Affan Cihangir from a close distance when the talented Ayberk Öktuğ managed to make a qualified save. Inönü FK's players were relieved. Affan Cihangir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ayberk Öktuğ having to interfere. Ömür Safi struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Aktan Talaş didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inönü FK. Affan Cihangir who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Ayberk Öktuğ when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Serdar Özkar scored 1-1 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aktan Talaş, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Serdar Özkar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 86th minute, Cevdet Mutlualp got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Affan Cihangir got free with Ayberk Öktuğ in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. TEKİRDAĞSPOR's Cevdet Mutlualp got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cevdet Mutlualp in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ayberk Öktuğ prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
