Azmi Münir charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Azmi Münir the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Azmi Münir kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Yunus Özerdim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Bayındır Mehmet İdrisoğlu made a huge save. 17 minutes into the game, Rüknettin Ağca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ERZURUM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Burdur SK the free kick. Doğaner Sefir recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, ERZURUM's Azmi Münir got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute, Doğaner Sefir fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Bayındır Mehmet İdrisoğlu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yunus Özerdim in the 30th minute. Şehzade Dahi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Korhan Topçam having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Sancarbey Cenap hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rüknettin Ağca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, Burdur SK's goal looked a bit too open when Rüknettin Ağca came free, but Korhan Topçam reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to ERZURUM getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Ertaç Şerhenk hit a great ball. Through an outstanding action, after 47 minutes, Bayındır Mehmet İdrisoğlu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Rüknettin Ağca made the kick off in the second half. Yunus Özerdim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 52 minutes into the game, Sancarbey Cenap was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Burdur SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ERZURUM the free kick. The supporters of ERZURUM booed when Burdur SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sancarbey Cenap didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şehzade Dahi in the 54th minute of play forced Burdur SK's goalkeeper Korhan Topçam to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th match minute, Burdur SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doğaner Sefir to maneuver through the defense. Burdur SK's Korhan Topçam played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şehzade Dahi in the 58th minute of play. A collision led to Burdur SK getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Temel Kadrican hit a great ball. Yunus Özerdim scored 1-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bayındır Mehmet İdrisoğlu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Şehzade Dahi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Korhan Topçam tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Şehzade Dahi came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the ERZURUM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Şehzade Dahi couldn't finish the play. Yunus Özerdim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Bayındır Mehmet İdrisoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Doğaner Sefir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Burdur SK's zone, Şehzade Dahi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Korhan Topçam came out of the goal and Şehzade Dahi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sancarbey Cenap kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Bayındır Mehmet İdrisoğlu came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Burdur SK's Yunus Özerdim. But to his dismay, Yunus Özerdim quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Burdur SK's zone, Şehzade Dahi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Korhan Topçam came out of the goal and Şehzade Dahi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Burdur SK were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of ERZURUM for a fine match.
