The referee showed Ahmet Boran Usman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 6 minutes into the game, one of Kastamonu J.K:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When Ali Vedat Pektaşi fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atabey's protests and gave Ali Vedat Pektaşi a yellow card for diving instead. Ali Vedat Pektaşi kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Baha Eryildiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ataman Yanar, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Kastamonu J.K's zone, Süreyya Koral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baha Eryildiz came out of the goal and Süreyya Koral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kastamonu J.K's Baha Eryildiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ataman Yanar in the 24th minute of play. Okanalp Bahar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alkan Resulhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Ataman Yanar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Baha Eryildiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 36 minutes into the match, Kastamonu J.K's Armağan Erkinay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Okanalp Bahar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 39 minutes into the match, Kastamonu J.K's goalkeeper Baha Eryildiz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ataman Yanar. If Süreyya Koral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Baha Eryildiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ataman Yanar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ali Vedat Pektaşi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

After 56 played minutes Atabey got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Arif Tanyolaç. Kastamonu J.K's Baha Eryildiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ataman Yanar in the 61st minute of play. In the 63rd minute Ataman Yanar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Baha Eryildiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baha Eryildiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ataman Yanar in the 65th minute of play. After having played for 67 minutes, Süreyya Koral managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atabey's supporters crossed their fingers, but Süreyya Koral was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Atabey booed when Kastamonu J.K was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armağan Erkinay didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Süreyya Koral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ataman Yanar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baha Eryildiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Süreyya Koral in the 79th minute of play. Baha Eryildiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Süreyya Koral in the 80th minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Süreyya Koral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Baha Eryildiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Arif Tanyolaç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Atabey's Okanalp Bahar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ersan Ertuna in the 92nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alkan Resulhan got free with Okanalp Bahar in the 100th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
