Tansu Yeler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Altuğ Serdengeçti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 17th minute, GSARAY's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Eşref Muhsin fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Eşref Muhsin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eşref Muhsin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Altuğ Serdengeçti skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 27th minute Tansu Yeler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Altuğ Serdengeçti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, GSARAY's goal looked a bit too open when Tansu Yeler came free, but Altuğ Serdengeçti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Şenol Kamer couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Altuğ Serdengeçti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eşref Muhsin, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After 88 minutes of play, Bekilli's Eşref Muhsin made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ahmet Bülent Verim kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. GSARAY's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
