Sercan Baltacı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Kubilay Elçioğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rüstem Altunışık during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Selcuklu JK's Rüstem Altunışık got a free kick in the 17th minute. Ömür Turcan took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kubilay Elçioğlu. Kubilay Elçioğlu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Selcuklu JK's zone, Kürşat Sefer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kubilay Elçioğlu came out of the goal and Kürşat Sefer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ömür Turcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kubilay Elçioğlu having to interfere. Serbülent Uluşahin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kürşat Sefer to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sercan Baltacı during the 60th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kubilay Elçioğlu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kürşat Sefer, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. When Serbülent Uluşahin came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Selcuklu JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serbülent Uluşahin couldn't finish the play. Kubilay Elçioğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ömür Turcan in the 78th minute of the match. After having played for 81 minutes, Serbülent Uluşahin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
