Spectators: 7262 (Terracing: 5448, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 144) Boyabat's Kürşat Sefer started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Boyabat booed when Alsancak FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Savaşer Ilgıt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alsancak FK's Göksun Taki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ömür Turcan in the 11th minute of play. Tayyar Taylak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Göksun Taki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Göksun Taki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kürşat Sefer in the 18th minute of the match. A collision led to Alsancak FK getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Savaşer Ilgıt hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Ömür Turcan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boyabat's supporters rose to their feet, but Ömür Turcan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Göksun Taki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Ömür Turcan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Göksun Taki was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. After having played for 35 minutes, Kürşat Sefer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boyabat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kürşat Sefer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ömür Turcan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Göksun Taki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ömür Turcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Erol Mahmut was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Erol Mahmut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Güner Bekata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kürşat Sefer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute, Boyabat's Kandemir Adalı seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Kandemir Adalı the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Boyabat protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Kandemir Adalı had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 62 minutes into the game, one of Boyabat:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Alsancak FK a penalty, 65 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Celalettin Secavend, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Boyabat's Güner Bekata. 1-0. If Ömür Turcan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erol Mahmut in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Güner Bekata prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 96th minute, Fazıl Hüsnü Yurtseven hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ömür Turcan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boyabat's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Alsancak FK had won, even though Boyabat had held more of the ball.
