When Zekeriya Kerimhan came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the özoğul SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zekeriya Kerimhan couldn't finish the play. After 8 played minutes Sarioglan SK got a freekick which was hit by Bülent Hacıbeyoğlu. When Nuh Kutyan came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the özoğul SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nuh Kutyan couldn't finish the play. Halil İbrahim Ogün sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 18th minute, özoğul SK's Zekeriya Kerimhan seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Zekeriya Kerimhan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of özoğul SK protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Zekeriya Kerimhan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After a rather tough play, özoğul SK's Zekeriya Kerimhan got a free kick in the 19th minute. Kadim Ongar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Halil İbrahim Ogün came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the özoğul SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Halil İbrahim Ogün couldn't finish the play. In the 33rd minute Abdi Kökşin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samim Orkan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Halil İbrahim Ogün received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Samim Orkan came out and tried to block the shot, but Halil İbrahim Ogün slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 35th minute. Nuh Kutyan hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Baransel Çolak might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rasim Yücelay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baransel Çolak ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Sarioglan SK booed when özoğul SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serhan İmge didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Sarioglan SK defense, Abdi Kökşin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Samim Orkan. The Sarioglan SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Samim Orkan should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Halil İbrahim Ogün stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nuh Kutyan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sarioglan SK's goalkeeper Samim Orkan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Nuh Kutyan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yavuz Ecemiş kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. If Abdi Kökşin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Abdi Kökşin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samim Orkan was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 65th minute Abdi Kökşin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samim Orkan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samim Orkan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nuh Kutyan went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. If Nuh Kutyan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Abdi Kökşin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Abdi Kökşin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sarioglan SK's goalkeeper Samim Orkan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 85th minute, Abdi Kökşin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The özoğul SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Halil İbrahim Ogün's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samim Orkan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Abdi Kökşin might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Samim Orkan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abdi Kökşin ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 96 minutes, Abdi Kökşin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. özoğul SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abdi Kökşin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that özoğul SK were the better team. özoğul SK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
