In the 26th minute, Atay Fişek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Ankaragücü's Rafettin Ademoğlu got control of the ball when Vecdi Rahmet tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Gündogmus fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oğuzkan Hür should have stopped the shot. Rafettin Ademoğlu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Asım Arif Kınay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Çelebi Zati fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oğuzkan Hür having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Çelebi Zati in the 65th minute of play forced Gündogmus's goalkeeper Oğuzkan Hür to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 68 minutes, Asım Arif Kınay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
