YIRTICI KANARYALAR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Kürşat Tuğtaşı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ahmet Ziya Atılay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fehmi Kortan having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Şafak Hicran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FENERBAHÇE's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
