The goalkeeper, Emirşah Toker, was totally fooled by Kavak SK's Asaf Hünerli, who 18 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Fedai Kahya struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Birsel Melih didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Torul. Torul's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fedai Kahya was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute Fedai Kahya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Birsel Melih saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torul's Fedai Kahya got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
