When Doğaner Budun fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sultanbeyli's protests and gave Doğaner Budun a yellow card for diving instead. Doğaner Budun hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Suavi Cihaner stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Turabi Karasu's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Sultanbeyli's Ertaç Mutlusoy got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ertaç Mutlusoy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Suavi Cihaner having to interfere. Suavi Cihaner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Turabi Karasu, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute, Bahattin Nurettin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 68th match minute, Sultanbeyli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doğaner Budun to maneuver through the defense. Through an outstanding action, after 72 minutes, Suavi Cihaner successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. MAVİ ŞİMŞEKLER's Suavi Cihaner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save MAVİ ŞİMŞEKLER from getting a goal against them.
