After 7 played minutes Izmirspor got a freekick which was hit by Abdulhamit Tunçhan. Inebolu FK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Izmirspor the free kick. Eray Sargan had several of the Inebolu FK's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 54 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Demircan Tanberk as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 60th minute, Izmirspor's Eray Sargan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Demircan Tanberk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Süruri Süreyya in the 63rd minute. Demircan Tanberk came out of the goal and Süruri Süreyya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the match, Izmirspor's Eray Sargan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Demircan Tanberk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Izmirspor played a much better game than Inebolu FK and deserved their victory. The Inebolu FK players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
