Urbano Mingo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Reha Kerim in the 5th minute of play. In the 9th minute, Lütfü Şahap reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Semail Ongunalp. The goal made the score 1-0. After having played for 12 minutes, Lütfü Şahap managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Urbano Mingo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Asım Bicanoğlu went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Lütfü Şahap might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Semail Ongunalp. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lütfü Şahap ran back to his position shaking his head. Yavuz Özkul's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Semail Ongunalp read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lütfü Şahap couldn't finish the play. In the 96th minute Ahmet Reha Kerim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urbano Mingo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Kayacan Yalçınkaya had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. There was no doubt that Güclükonak FK were the better team. Güclükonak FK's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
