The supporters of Diyarbakirspor booed when Dolapdere SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mustafa Hakan Canbek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haşim Yaban took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mahmut Kara, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Dolapdere SK's Cemal Tuğser got a free kick in the 21st minute. When Ekrem Erduran got free in front of the goal in the 22nd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Songur Bera was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Haşim Yaban didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mustafa Hakan Canbek went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Mirza Yaşer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Haşim Yaban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Songur Bera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ekrem Erduran in the 38th minute of play. If Ekrem Erduran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdi Mehmet Hasankeyf hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute of the match Cemal Tuğser sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Haşim Yaban skillfully saved the ball. Mahmut Kara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haşim Yaban having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mustafa Hakan Canbek to make the kick off. A collision led to Dolapdere SK getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Mirza Yaşer hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Atak Demirel in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Songur Bera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 67th minute, Atak Demirel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Songur Bera was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. When Ekrem Erduran came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Diyarbakirspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ekrem Erduran couldn't finish the play. Mustafa Hakan Canbek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haşim Yaban having to interfere. Ekrem Erduran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mahmut Kara might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Haşim Yaban. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mahmut Kara ran back to his position shaking his head. 89 minutes into the match, Diyarbakirspor's goalkeeper Haşim Yaban had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mahmut Kara. A collision led to Diyarbakirspor getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Salih Özbilge hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Diyarbakirspor fans cheered their team off the field, for while Dolapdere SK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
