Hıncal Yenal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Şentürk Özduru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 45 minutes into the match, Reyhanli's Baturay Keskin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eşref Okanay narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

Şentürk Özduru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. melih's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Ahmet Danış Kalender scored to the left of an out of position Eşref Okanay, making the score, 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mehmet Arif Tayfun in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Şentürk Özduru saved Reyhanli from getting behind. With a little luck, melih's Eşref Okanay got control of the ball when Ahmet Danış Kalender tried to sneak it across the goal line. Baturay Keskin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eşref Okanay having to interfere.
