Turgut Ezelhan started the match with the kick off. Yatagan's Selmi Elmacı got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Süleyman Yaves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Turgut Ezelhan's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. Süleyman Yaves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Turgut Ezelhan in the 8th minute of the match. Bayındır Mehmet Başesgi kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. The Yatagan fans' excitement grew in the 17th match minute when Yatagan's Turgut Ezelhan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ercan İribaş scored 0-3 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Süleyman Yaves, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Turgut Ezelhan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Süleyman Yaves was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. After the first half Yatagan were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bayındır Mehmet Başesgi made a kick off. Süleyman Yaves made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Selmi Elmacı sent off a good shot on target. If Selmi Elmacı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, one of adanaspor:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for adanaspor. adanaspor's Süleyman Yaves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Turgut Ezelhan in the 72nd minute of play. The supporters of Yatagan booed when adanaspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bumin Durucan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in adanaspor's zone, Selmi Elmacı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Süleyman Yaves came out of the goal and Selmi Elmacı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes into the match, Yatagan's Selmi Elmacı sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Süleyman Yaves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Turgut Ezelhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Turgut Ezelhan in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Süleyman Yaves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Süleyman Yaves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Turgut Ezelhan in the 91st minute of the match. Selmi Elmacı received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Süleyman Yaves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Süleyman Yaves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Turgut Ezelhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. The adanaspor fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Yatagan were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
