The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kiziltepe JK's Aykan Bayındır proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Kiziltepe JK from getting a goal against them. Denizhan Çağakan succeeded in the game's 7th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-1. Bilgehan Başkaynak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aykan Bayındır having to interfere. In the 16th minute Aybars Başbuğoğlu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Azim Seyban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Azim Seyban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denizhan Çağakan in the 18th minute of play. Aybars Başbuğoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Azim Seyban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Bilgehan Başkaynak managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yavuzlar SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Bilgehan Başkaynak was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aykan Bayındır breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ahmet Yahya Uludağ received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Aykan Bayındır tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Azim Seyban came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Kiziltepe JK's Aybars Başbuğoğlu. But to his dismay, Aybars Başbuğoğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Denizhan Çağakan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Aybars Başbuğoğlu scored 0-3 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Azim Seyban, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aybars Başbuğoğlu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bilgehan Başkaynak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Güntekin Kutunalp hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 62nd minute by Aybars Başbuğoğlu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 72nd minute, Bilgehan Başkaynak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Yavuzlar SK's goalkeeper Azim Seyban had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Denizhan Çağakan. Samet Çırak hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Bilgehan Başkaynak took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aykan Bayındır. Aykan Bayındır dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. When Aybars Başbuğoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Kiziltepe JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aybars Başbuğoğlu couldn't finish the play. When Öztürk Uluberk fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kiziltepe JK's protests and gave Öztürk Uluberk a yellow card for diving instead. Öztürk Uluberk kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Kiziltepe JK's goal looked a bit too open when Bilgehan Başkaynak came free, but Aykan Bayındır reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kiziltepe JK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
