Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when İlyas Zabit kicked off to start the match. Kaan Taha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hüsrev Derem charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hüsrev Derem the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 22 minutes into the match, Inönü's goal looked a bit too open when İlyas Zabit came free, but Kaan Taha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kaan Taha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alim Yergin in the 25th minute of the match. Hasan Tahsin Şafakgün's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Turan Özgiray read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Dogubeyazit's Turan Özgiray proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Dogubeyazit from getting a goal against them. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Demircan Yurdaer to make the kick off. Inönü's Kaan Taha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alim Yergin in the 52nd minute of play.
