Rüştü Yücesan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeynel Yalınay having to interfere. Zeynel Yalınay didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rüştü Yücesan went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 29 minutes into the game, Ahmet Kadri İskender was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karaköy SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kuluncak the free kick. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rüştü Yücesan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Menderes Ergüven got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Batuhan Özben received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Kutluay Veysi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
