Çakıltaş Futbol Kulübü's supporters crossed their fingers, but Acun Kabadayı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the game, Bilge Kağan Özbala was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Çakıltaş Futbol Kulübü's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Burgazada the free kick. After 19 played minutes Çakıltaş Futbol Kulübü got a freekick which was hit by Bilge Kağan Özbala. The supporters of Çakıltaş Futbol Kulübü booed when Burgazada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tuncer Arıcan didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Burgazada's Hayati Buyruk got control of the ball when Acun Kabadayı tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Melih Cevdet Taştekin was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 27 minutes had been played. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nazım Rezzak in the 32nd minute of play forced Çakıltaş Futbol Kulübü's goalkeeper Ayvaz Kurhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 minutes, Atahan Korcan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Çakıltaş Futbol Kulübü and the Burgazada players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cevher Açıkgöz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ayvaz Kurhan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Acun Kabadayı to strike the kick off in the second half. Ayvaz Kurhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cevher Açıkgöz in the 51st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Çakıltaş Futbol Kulübü's Onurhan Nefer got a free kick in the 54th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 57 minutes, Ayvaz Kurhan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Onurhan Nefer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nadir Hasret charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nadir Hasret the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ahmet Davut Erbay hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After 70 played minutes Çakıltaş Futbol Kulübü got a freekick which was hit by Nadir Hasret. An unexpectedly hard shot by İldeniz Yağız in the 80th minute of play forced Çakıltaş Futbol Kulübü's goalkeeper Ayvaz Kurhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
