But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kasım Özver couldn't finish the play. Ahmet Haşim Erboy might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Artur Cieliczka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ahmet Haşim Erboy ran back to his position shaking his head. Yıldıray Zülfikar hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute Ahmet Korcan Üner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kamer Hürmüz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Tünel left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Borussia Dortmund.
