The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 41st minute of the game. One of Tünel:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pendik:s goal. Artur Cieliczka had in the 43rdth minute some difficulties stopping Abdulmelik Erez's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. With a little luck, Tünel's Artur Cieliczka got control of the ball when Ahmet Yahya Taşkınay tried to sneak it across the goal line. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Haluk Hidayettin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the referee ended the match the Pendik players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
