After a rather tough play, ERCİYAS SPOR FK's Recep Talha Barkan got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Nazım Bilgin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efe Baysan having to interfere. Mehmet Anıl Devrim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Dorukhan Akgüngör tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 14thth minute of the game Ahmet Toycan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kavaklidere's Dorukhan Akgüngör was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Efe Baysan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tolunay Türeli in the 15th minute of play. Gencal Gözlem charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gencal Gözlem the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Nazım Bilgin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ahmet Toycan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Kavaklidere's goal looked a bit too open when Mehmet Anıl Devrim came free, but Dorukhan Akgüngör reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute of the match Durmuş Tanın shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dorukhan Akgüngör showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Nazım Bilgin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Hazım Savgat came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Kavaklidere fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hazım Savgat couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The ERCİYAS SPOR FK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kavaklidere had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
