Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Hamza Balıkçı made the kick off and thus started the match. The referee ignored Cankurtaran FK's protests and gave Aras Ozanalp a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cankurtaran FK's Aras Ozanalp got a free kick in the 10th minute. Mustafa Orhan Özdemir charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mustafa Orhan Özdemir the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th minute Tolga Şemsi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yakup Kadri Midilli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eşref Yıldız's late challenge caught a Cankurtaran FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eşref Yıldız helped the player get up and apologised. In the 18th minute, Eşref Yıldız hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th minute, Hamza Balıkçı fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Hamza Balıkçı could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Yetkiner Perva made a huge save. Ahmet Arif Gürler scored 0-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yakup Kadri Midilli, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Aras Ozanalp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yetkiner Perva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aras Ozanalp, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Aras Ozanalp got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 37 played minutes Gaziantep got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Orhan Özdemir. Yakup Kadri Midilli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Arif Gürler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 42 minutes into the match, Gaziantep's Ahmet Arif Gürler sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yakup Kadri Midilli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Yetkiner Perva was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Gürol Gülle capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gürol Gülle really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Aras Ozanalp in the 58th minute of play forced Gaziantep's goalkeeper Yetkiner Perva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gürol Gülle struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Yetkiner Perva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cankurtaran FK. 66 minutes into the match, Ahmet Arif Gürler dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Yakup Kadri Midilli, 1-3. Gürol Gülle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yetkiner Perva having to interfere. Aras Ozanalp hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Hamza Balıkçı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 88th play minutes Hamza Balıkçı shot 2-3, a short shot which went by Yetkiner Perva and just under the crossbar into goal. After 94 played minutes Cankurtaran FK got a freekick which was hit by Gürol Gülle. The Cankurtaran FK manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Gaziantep to win.
