Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Erhun Otaran's late challenge caught a Bursa Gençlerbirliği SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erhun Otaran helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Bursa Gençlerbirliği SK booed when Ikizdere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erhun Otaran didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Necip Fazıl Soyselçuk in the 4th minute of play forced Ikizdere's goalkeeper Fazlı Aynacıoğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Necip Fazıl Soyselçuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kıraç Akkoyun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fethi Nevzat in the 11th minute of play. Kıraç Akkoyun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Atilla Kağan İdris in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Ikizdere's goal looked a bit too open when Mahir Akçal came free, but Fazlı Aynacıoğlu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. İlyas Tolga Dilan hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Necip Fazıl Soyselçuk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mahir Akçal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fazlı Aynacıoğlu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Fazlı Aynacıoğlu came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Bursa Gençlerbirliği SK's Mahir Akçal. But to his dismay, Mahir Akçal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 30 minutes, Songurbey Sayhan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ikizdere and the Bursa Gençlerbirliği SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th minute, Songurbey Sayhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fazlı Aynacıoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lütfi Gümüşsoy in the 32nd minute of play. Fethi Nevzat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Necip Fazıl Soyselçuk managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bursa Gençlerbirliği SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Necip Fazıl Soyselçuk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fazlı Aynacıoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute, Mahir Akçal ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fazlı Aynacıoğlu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After the first half Bursa Gençlerbirliği SK were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

55 minutes into the game, Ikizdere's Atilla Kağan İdris nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kıraç Akkoyun made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Mahir Akçal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bursa Gençlerbirliği SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Mahir Akçal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fazlı Aynacıoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Necip Fazıl Soyselçuk got free with Fazlı Aynacıoğlu in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 66 minutes, Güneri Akdoruk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ikizdere and the Bursa Gençlerbirliği SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 66 played minutes Ikizdere got a freekick which was hit by Güneri Akdoruk. 69 minutes into the match, Atilla Kağan İdris notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Bursa Gençlerbirliği SK's Kıraç Akkoyun. Kıraç Akkoyun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 81st match minute, Ikizdere was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Songurbey Sayhan to maneuver through the defense. If Necip Fazıl Soyselçuk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fazlı Aynacıoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mahir Akçal in the 88th minute of play. Fikri Karar hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Bursa Gençlerbirliği SK's Hakkı Deniz Şirvan got a free kick in the 92nd minute. 96 minutes into the match, Bursa Gençlerbirliği SK's goal looked a bit too open when Songurbey Sayhan came free, but Kıraç Akkoyun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Necip Fazıl Soyselçuk could shoot a difficult shot in the 97th minute, which Fazlı Aynacıoğlu however easily saved by the left post.
