Şenol Göktepe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Acar Safer, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eşref Tulun got free with Şenol Göktepe in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Ogün Sabancı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Eşref Tulun sped through Tarabya JK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Şenol Göktepe. In the 26th match minute, Sokarca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ogün Sabancı to maneuver through the defense. When Baturhan Geçer fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tarabya JK's protests and gave Baturhan Geçer a yellow card for diving instead. After 27 played minutes Tarabya JK got a freekick which was hit by Baturhan Geçer. Acar Safer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eşref Tulun in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Şenol Göktepe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 38 minutes into the game, Göksun Torlak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sokarca FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tarabya JK the free kick. After 38 played minutes Sokarca FC got a freekick which was hit by Göksun Torlak. Sokarca FC's Lütfullah Bilgen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dilaver Ahi in the 39th minute of play. Lütfullah Bilgen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baturhan Geçer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eşref Tulun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Eşref Tulun's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 46thth minute, Şenol Göktepe skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 48 minutes into the match, Sokarca FC's Ogün Sabancı sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Şenol Göktepe narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The wind increased when Eşref Tulun made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eşref Tulun in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Şenol Göktepe saved Tarabya JK from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Eşref Tulun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Şenol Göktepe was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. The supporters of Tarabya JK booed when Sokarca FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eşref Tulun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lütfullah Bilgen acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 63rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Abdulkadir Temizkal. In the 65th minute, Yakut Yazıcı left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tarabya JK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. In the 69thth minute of the game Eşref Tulun who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tarabya JK's Şenol Göktepe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lütfullah Bilgen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yakut Yazıcı in the 78th minute. Şenol Göktepe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eşref Tulun's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. The supporters of Sokarca FC booed when Tarabya JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdulkadir Temizkal didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Eşref Tulun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Eşref Tulun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sokarca FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eşref Tulun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Şenol Göktepe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Baturhan Geçer scored 3-2 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lütfullah Bilgen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Sokarca FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
