Yavuz Seyhun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Güneş Acarsoy went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Ali Asım Ramiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Sedat Çoğaş had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yavuz Seyhun. Talay FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sedat Çoğaş was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 44 minutes into the match, Talay FK's goal looked a bit too open when Rauf Yaruk came free, but Yavuz Seyhun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Talay FK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. HATAY SPOR SK were winning 0-3.

Ali Asım Ramiz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nemesio Gaitan having to make a save. With a little luck, Talay FK's Yavuz Seyhun got control of the ball when Tuncay Hızarcı tried to sneak it across the goal line. Talay FK's Yavuz Seyhun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rauf Yaruk in the 87th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Güneş Acarsoy could shoot a difficult shot in the 89th minute, which Yavuz Seyhun however easily saved by the left post. Saltuk Korcan charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Saltuk Korcan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Saltuk Korcan kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded HATAY SPOR SK left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Talay FK.
