Spectators: 5001 (Terracing: 4001, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Crew SK's İsmail Genişyürek started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Raşit Renan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Cafer Hızlan in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Naim Köksan saved Crew SK from getting behind. In the 17th match minute, Crew SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efekan Çetinsoy to maneuver through the defense. Raşit Renan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Crew SK's Efekan Çetinsoy suffered a concussion in the 22nd minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Aşık Yeğin's late challenge caught a Crew SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aşık Yeğin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd match minute, Karakocan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aşık Yeğin to maneuver through the defense. İsmail Genişyürek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When İsmail Genişyürek fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Crew SK's protests and gave İsmail Genişyürek a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th minute, İsmail Genişyürek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Necaettin Hayal, 31 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Raşit Renan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 35 minutes, Ali Cafer Hızlan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karakocan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Cafer Hızlan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Crew SK defense, Raşit Renan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Naim Köksan. The Crew SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Naim Köksan should have stopped the shot. In the 44th minute, Raşit Renan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. İsmail Genişyürek hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Karakocan's Raşit Renan got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Crew SK's Naim Köksan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ali Cafer Hızlan in the 51st minute of play. The supporters of Karakocan booed when Crew SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orhan Taha didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 53rd minute, Raşit Renan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 54 minutes, Raşit Renan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karakocan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raşit Renan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Naim Köksan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oğuzer Tutuş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Ali Cafer Hızlan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Karakocan's supporters rose to their feet, but Ali Cafer Hızlan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Naim Köksan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Naim Köksan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ali Cafer Hızlan in the 65th minute of the match. Ali Cafer Hızlan's late challenge caught a Crew SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ali Cafer Hızlan helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st minute, Ali Cafer Hızlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Crew SK's Naim Köksan got control of the ball when Raşit Renan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ali Cafer Hızlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raşit Renan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Naim Köksan made a huge save. Raşit Renan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Naim Köksan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raşit Renan got free with Naim Köksan in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Naim Köksan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Cafer Hızlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. When Ali Cafer Hızlan got free in front of the goal in the 86th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Naim Köksan was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Naim Köksan made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Raşit Renan sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded Karakocan left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Crew SK.
