In the 3rd match minute, Karsinojenler SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Muammer Bahçıvan to maneuver through the defense. In the 3rd minute, Abdulbaki Umut sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Karsinojenler SK's İnanç Tanyol didn't even have to move. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. İnanç Tanyol made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Behzat Ozaner sent off a good shot on target. Behzat Ozaner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İnanç Tanyol having to interfere. If Muhittin Özmert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Behzat Ozaner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. İnanç Tanyol was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Muhittin Özmert showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 42 minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Muhittin Özmert made a kick off. Şakir Eymen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Şakir Eymen's late challenge caught a Karsinojenler SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Şakir Eymen helped the player get up and apologised. After 59 played minutes GALATASARAY got a freekick which was hit by Şakir Eymen. A collision led to GALATASARAY getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Doğan Sefik hit a great ball. After having played for 65 minutes, Behzat Ozaner managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GALATASARAY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Behzat Ozaner was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 67 minutes, Muhittin Özmert put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of İnanç Tanyol. Muhittin Özmert recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 80 minutes of play, GALATASARAY's Behzat Ozaner made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. İnanç Tanyol was left in no man's land by his defense there! Muhittin Özmert's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but İnanç Tanyol read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. GALATASARAY's Doğan Sefik got his second yellow card of the match in the 87th minute. The referee ordered Doğan Sefik off the ground. The supporters of Karsinojenler SK booed when GALATASARAY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doğan Sefik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Behzat Ozaner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. İnanç Tanyol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Abdi Mehmet Asıf struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. İnanç Tanyol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GALATASARAY. 92 minutes into the game, Demircan Safir was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Karsinojenler SK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GALATASARAY the free kick. The supporters of GALATASARAY booed when Karsinojenler SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Demircan Safir didn't get a good kick on the ball. İnanç Tanyol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Behzat Ozaner in the 95th minute of the match. There was no doubt that GALATASARAY were the better team. GALATASARAY's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
