Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Civril's Tayfur Erkılınç started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, CAT's Cevdet Zeki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ertan Samih narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Akın Ülgü stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tayfur Erkılınç's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. Ertan Samih showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Halis Kadim, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 13 minutes into the match, CAT's goalkeeper Akın Ülgü had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aytek Cantürk. Ertan Samih showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Halis Kadim in the 16th minute of the match. A collision led to Civril getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Mehmet Bedri Sanal hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute, Keramettin Derelioğlu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Civril's Ertan Samih didn't even have to move. Aytek Cantürk took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Akın Ülgü. Akın Ülgü dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Cevdet Zeki's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ertan Samih read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, CAT's goalkeeper Akın Ülgü had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aytek Cantürk. After 34 minutes of play, CAT's Mehmet Halis Kadim made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ertan Samih was left in no man's land by his defense there! 38 minutes into the match, CAT's Cevdet Zeki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ertan Samih narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Akın Ülgü made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tayfur Erkılınç in the 40th minute. The supporters of Civril booed when CAT was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karadeniz İsmail didn't get a good kick on the ball. Akın Ülgü made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Aytek Cantürk sent off a good shot on target. Aytek Cantürk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The wind increased when Mehmet Halis Kadim made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, CAT's Cevdet Zeki nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ertan Samih made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. CAT's Cevdet Zeki got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Cevdet Zeki managed to get in a good position for a shot. CAT's supporters rose to their feet, but Cevdet Zeki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ertan Samih breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 65th minute, Battal Gazi İmran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cevdet Zeki's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Ertan Samih skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Aytek Cantürk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Onuralp Adar kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Sabri Kiner hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Hüseyin Cahit Temizhan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Akın Ülgü. CAT's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Civril's goalkeeper Ertan Samih had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cevdet Zeki. When Özer Oskay fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Civril's protests and gave Özer Oskay a yellow card for diving instead. In the 84th match minute, Civril was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Özer Oskay to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the match, Civril's goalkeeper Ertan Samih had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cevdet Zeki. Aytek Cantürk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Akın Ülgü read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Aytek Cantürk fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Akın Ülgü having to interfere. The CAT players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Civril from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
