Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mehmet Halis Kadim took the kick off in the first half of the match. Abdulbaki Orkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mehmet Halis Kadim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in CAT's zone, Ercan Ungur stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Akın Ülgü came out of the goal and Ercan Ungur tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Mehmet Halis Kadim kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Abdulbaki Orkan. That made the score 1-0 in the 23 minute of play. The supporters of CAT booed when Yesilköy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Koray Sezgi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abdulbaki Orkan made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Cevdet Zeki sent off a good shot on target. Abdulbaki Orkan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mehmet Halis Kadim, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. After some careless play in the Yesilköy defense, Cevdet Zeki kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abdulbaki Orkan. In the 73rd minute, Mücahit Şahbazoğlu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Utku Urandu hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. 79 minutes into the match, CAT's Cevdet Zeki sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abdulbaki Orkan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 84th minute of the match Keramettin Derelioğlu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Abdulbaki Orkan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mehmet Halis Kadim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdulbaki Orkan having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The CAT fans cheered their team off the field, for while Yesilköy had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
