When Günalp Orcaner fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kirklareli's protests and gave Günalp Orcaner a yellow card for diving instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Talip İmren to make the kick off. Forza Kartal's Rüknettin Bülbül played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gökalp Temizalp in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Forza Kartal's Arif Burak Ünalmış dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. After 87 minutes, Arif Burak Ünalmış made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Kirklareli's Ahmet Bülent Üstüner tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
