In the 8th minute, Batu Asalet reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Utku Beyhan. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 11th minute of the match, Batu Asalet tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Utku Beyhan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 16 minutes into the match, GALATASARAY's goal looked a bit too open when Batu Asalet came free, but Utku Beyhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Sarikaya SK's goal looked a bit too open when Oktay Irgatbaşı came free, but Beşir Tekinsoy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hüseyin Mirza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Utku Beyhan made a huge save. With a little luck, GALATASARAY's Utku Beyhan got control of the ball when Hüseyin Mirza tried to sneak it across the goal line. GALATASARAY's Utku Beyhan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save GALATASARAY from getting a goal against them. In the 33rd match minute, Sarikaya SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Davut Bayer to maneuver through the defense. When Güner Avşar fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sarikaya SK's protests and gave Güner Avşar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th minute, Güner Avşar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 39 minutes of play, Sarikaya SK's Hüseyin Mirza made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Utku Beyhan was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 44th minute, Batu Asalet fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Utku Beyhan, passed just outside the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Baha Coşkun managed to get in a good position for a shot. GALATASARAY's supporters rose to their feet, but Baha Coşkun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beşir Tekinsoy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Batu Asalet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52ndth minute of the game Batu Asalet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GALATASARAY's Utku Beyhan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Hüseyin Mirza came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Sarikaya SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hüseyin Mirza couldn't finish the play. Tevfik Sarvan hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in GALATASARAY's zone, Hüseyin Mirza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Utku Beyhan came out of the goal and Hüseyin Mirza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 65 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Batu Asalet sped through GALATASARAY's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Utku Beyhan. The supporters of Sarikaya SK booed when GALATASARAY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alpay Kerem didn't get a good kick on the ball. 71 minutes into the match, Sarikaya SK's Arman Öveç broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 76 played minutes, Sarikaya SK's Davut Bayer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Utku Beyhan came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sarikaya SK reached it. When Hüseyin Mirza came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Sarikaya SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hüseyin Mirza couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Batu Asalet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Utku Beyhan was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. GALATASARAY's Utku Beyhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hüseyin Mirza in the 87th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Batu Asalet in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Utku Beyhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sarikaya SK fans cheered their team off the field, for while GALATASARAY had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
