After a defensive mix-up in Myra's zone, Hakkı Kenan Ongay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sermet Balkır came out of the goal and Hakkı Kenan Ongay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Resulhan Özcebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raşit Pekalp having to interfere. EMRE's Raşit Pekalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Resulhan Özcebe in the 11th minute of play. Resulhan Özcebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raşit Pekalp having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Arda Tümenbay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Myra's supporters rose to their feet, but Arda Tümenbay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raşit Pekalp breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arda Tümenbay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raşit Pekalp having to interfere. After a rather tough play, EMRE's Güner Kayrar got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute, one of EMRE:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for EMRE. Asrın Asutay placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Raşit Pekalp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Resulhan Özcebe in the 37th minute of play. Arda Tümenbay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raşit Pekalp having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Resulhan Özcebe in the 44th minute of play forced EMRE's goalkeeper Raşit Pekalp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Asrın Asutay during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of EMRE booed when Myra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asrın Asutay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sermet Balkır made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Paşa Çidam sent off a good shot on target. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Resulhan Özcebe to strike the kick off in the second half. Paşa Çidam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sermet Balkır having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paşa Çidam in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sermet Balkır saved Myra from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Paşa Çidam's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sermet Balkır was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Myra's Battal Gazi Akdal got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After 67 minutes, Hakkı Kenan Ongay mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the EMRE and the Myra players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hakkı Kenan Ongay kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. If Yakup Albay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Ahmet Nafiz Ülker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th minute, Yakup Albay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Myra players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
