Raşit Pekalp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Asaf Tozun, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Korkut Turan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raşit Pekalp having to interfere. With a little luck, EMRE's Raşit Pekalp got control of the ball when Korkut Turan tried to sneak it across the goal line. 16 minutes into the game, Yakup Albay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. EMRE's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ergani the free kick. After 16 played minutes EMRE got a freekick which was hit by Yakup Albay. Paşa Çidam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Yıldırım Haymanalı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. EMRE's Şerif İlenç pulled a muscle in his leg after 22 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Arif Burak Kudretullah's late challenge caught a EMRE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arif Burak Kudretullah helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd match minute, Ergani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arif Burak Kudretullah to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, EMRE's goalkeeper Raşit Pekalp had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Korkut Turan. Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Raşit Pekalp successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Asaf Tozun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for EMRE! Baran Alp Haspolatlı placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Raşit Pekalp came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Ergani's Korkut Turan. But to his dismay, Korkut Turan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 47 minutes into the match, Korkut Turan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raşit Pekalp. EMRE's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Korkut Turan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The supporters of EMRE booed when Ergani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arif Burak Kudretullah didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Korkut Turan came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Ergani fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Korkut Turan couldn't finish the play. After having played for 72 minutes, Asaf Tozun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ergani's supporters crossed their fingers, but Asaf Tozun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Korkut Turan might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Raşit Pekalp. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. EMRE's Kutlay Dirican couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 96th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ergani. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ergani had played much better football throughout.
