Ertunç Övünç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yıldırım Özçevik in the 9th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Tavsanli JK's goalkeeper Ertunç Övünç had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baran Alp Deryace. A hard shot 16 in the game by Baran Alp Deryace from a close distance when the talented Ertunç Övünç managed to make a qualified save. Tavsanli JK's players were relieved. Ertunç Övünç made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Baran Alp Deryace sent off a good shot on target. Sabri Akıncıbey kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Yıldırım Özçevik's late challenge caught a Tavsanli JK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Yıldırım Özçevik helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Tavsanli JK booed when Maltepespor FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yıldırım Özçevik didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yıldırım Özçevik struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Ertunç Övünç didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maltepespor FK. Baran Alp Deryace could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Ertunç Övünç made a huge save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yıldırım Özçevik to make the kick off. Yıldırım Özçevik scored 1-0 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ertunç Övünç, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Yıldırım Özçevik in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ertunç Övünç prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 57th match minute, Tavsanli JK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mazhar Kanber to maneuver through the defense. After 62 played minutes Tavsanli JK got a freekick which was hit by Abdulkadir Necdet. In the 65th minute, Yıldırım Özçevik got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 72 minutes, Baran Alp Deryace managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maltepespor FK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baran Alp Deryace was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Baran Alp Deryace sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yıldırım Özçevik in the 78th minute of play forced Tavsanli JK's goalkeeper Ertunç Övünç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tavsanli JK's Ertunç Övünç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yıldırım Özçevik in the 96th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Maltepespor FK had played much better football throughout.
